About Selena

I’ve collaborated with production teams, networks, commercial clients, sports organizations, and independent creators; always with a focus on clarity, communication, and calm problem‑solving.

My Background

Sports Audio in Nashville

Most of my Nashville career has been rooted in sports.

I’ve worked with the Tennessee Titans across:

  • Titan’s Headquarters
  • Titan House
  • Nissan Stadium

I’ve supported A1s and production teams with utility and A2 roles, handling talent audio, comms, setup, troubleshooting, and game‑day operations. I’ve also worked occasional soccer matches, though not as consistently — usually as the backup to the backup.

Studio & Live‑to‑Tape Work

Beyond sports, I’ve worked in studio environments on live‑to‑tape productions and commercial projects at places like PDI and Stagepost.

These roles strengthened my skills in talent audio, lav miking, monitoring, and supporting control‑room workflows.

Film & Commercial Work in NYC

My film career really began in New York City. I had the opportunity to work on The Idea of You, as well as commercial productions in SoHo.

Before that, I spent several years working on podcast projects — editing, recording, and mixing across multiple shows and clients.

Creative Audio Work

Back in Nashville, I continue to explore sound creatively through short films with friends and by uploading original recordings to Freesound.org.

How I Work

I value

  • Technical precision — clean audio, organized sessions, reliable workflows
  • Clear communication — no surprises, no chaos
  • Collaboration — supporting directors, producers, and talent with calm, steady energy
  • Problem‑solving — every project is different, and I meet each one where it is

My goal is always the same: make the work easier for the people around me.

The Story Behind TNPA

Working across Tennessee’s creative industries, I kept seeing the same pattern: post‑production professionals were everywhere, but we weren’t connected, counted, or represented in any meaningful way.

There was no directory. No shared community. No visibility for the work happening across picture, sound, color, VFX, animation, and digital media.

So I created the Tennessee Post Alliance (TNPA) — not as a nonprofit or a membership organization, but as a simple, foundational step toward connection and visibility.

TNPA is my way of helping build the infrastructure I wish existed when I started: a statewide network where post‑production professionals can find each other, collaborate, and be recognized as a vital part of Tennessee’s creative ecosystem.

Outside of Work

I love traveling, trying new experiences, and exploring places I never expected to end up which is part of why NYC still has my heart.

I enjoy wine, paddle boarding, hiking, reading on my Kindle, watching films on Kanopy, and crocheting.

I also share my life with my husband and a parrot and volunteer at a parrot sanctuary in Hermitage, TN.
